Last Seen Season 1 (2026) 2-Disc Set Blu-ray

Adapted from Ryan David Jahn’s acclaimed novel The Dispatcher by writer Kris Mrksa, Last Seen is an emotionally searing Australian mystery thriller set across Victoria. Former detective Ian Ridley (Patrick Brammall) has spent eleven agonizing years trying to piece his life back together following the disappearance of his young daughter Maggie. Working as an emergency call operator, his fragile stability is shattered when he takes an alarming distress call from a terrified girl whose voice matches the child he lost. Convinced she is still alive, Ian launches an unauthorized and obsessive pursuit to uncover the truth.

Helmed by director Christian Schwochow, the six-episode miniseries stands apart through its exceptional emotional gravity and powerful performances by Patrick Brammall, Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell, and Daniel Henshall. Complemented by Bonnie Elliott’s stark cinematography and Isobel Waller-Bridge’s evocative score, Last Seen crafts a haunting portrait of trauma, parental devotion, and relentless suspense across two high-definition discs.
