Goodbye, Lara (2026) 2-Disc Set Blu-ray

Crafted to commemorate the 15th anniversary of acclaimed studio Kinema Citrus, Goodbye, Lara presents a breathtaking and poignant modern reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic fairy tale The Little Mermaid. Given an unexpected second chance at existence, she must navigate modern human society while searching for true love and striving to save her ruined underwater homeland.

Helmed by director Takushi Koide, the series captivates with luminous artistry, incorporating traditional cel animation aesthetics, expressive character designs, and a resonant musical score by Yuma Yamaguchi. Across this 2-disc Blu-ray collection, viewers can enjoy the entire moving saga in pristine 1080p high-definition video and master audio, making it a stellar showpiece for any curated anime library.
