Altered Carbon: Seasons 1-2 (2018-2020) 2-Disc Set Blu-ray

Step into the neon-drenched, high-tech dystopian future of Altered Carbon, where human consciousness is digitized into spinal cortical stacks and bodies are interchangeable sleeves. Adapted from Richard K. Morgan’s seminal sci-fi novel, the series follows elite former rebel soldier Takeshi Kovacs—brought to life with relentless physical and emotional intensity by Joel Kinnaman in Season 1 and Anthony Mackie in Season 2. Resurrected centuries after his death, Kovacs is dragged into a sprawling conspiratorial murder investigation in the upper echelon of immortal oligarchs, known as Meths, before embarking on a dangerous interplanetary quest tied to his lost love and rebel leader Quellcrist Falconer.

Renowned for its breathtaking world-building, razor-sharp fight choreography, and noir-infused storytelling, Altered Carbon delivers an uncompromising blend of philosophical existentialism and pulse-pounding action. This 2-disc Blu-ray collection captures the intricate visual majesty of Bay City and Harlan’s World with crisp detail, vibrant HDR contrast, and dynamic audio, making it a must-have showcase for home theater enthusiasts and devoted fans of uncompromising cyberpunk drama.
